Just looking to have your marriage made legal/official? This service is perfect for couples looking to have a friend or family member perform their service (and then we sign the licenses) or simply looking to have their marriage licenses signed.

Elopement Ceremony

This simple, yet intimate service is perfect for couples looking for something intimate/simple and includes an emailed ceremony questionnaire, a 10 minute service, and professional processing of your completed marriage licenses.

Bronze Wedding Service

Perfect for couples having a more traditional wedding (wedding party, guests, etc.), but still just interested in their ceremony being simple and not looking to have their ceremony include personal details about them, their love story, etc.

Silver Wedding Service

This package includes a video intro/planning meeting, a 1-hour “day of” ceremony time block, and preparation and presentation of a custom and personalized ceremony highlighting your personal story, and professional license processing once the ceremony is complete.

Gold Wedding Service

This upgraded package includes an in-person (or video) “get-to-know you” meeting, up to a 1-hour rehearsal attendance, a 1-hour “day of” ceremony time block, preparation of a fully customized ceremony highlighting your personal story, and license processing.

Platinum Wedding Service

This all-inclusive package includes an in-person meeting, up to a 1-hour rehearsal attendance, (2) pre-marriage prep sessions, a 1-hour “day of” ceremony time block, preparation of a fully customized ceremony highlighting your personal story, and license processing.

Lead Officiant

Evan is the owner of MBE and our lead officiant. He is passionate about successful marriages and about working with couples to help them achieve their own. Evan has been blessed to have been married to his high school sweetheart, Meiche, for over 30 years. Together they have (4) beautiful and amazingly talented daughters, (3) amazing son-in-laws and (4) of the most adorable grandkids you may ever meet. Evan has been an ordained and licensed pastor and wedding officiant for over 14 years and has performed over 2,000 weddings for some of the most awesome couples in Hampton Roads, the OBX and beyond.

HECTOR CRUZ

Associate Officiant - Hampton Roads

Hector has more than two decades of ministry/pastoral experience in the Tidewater area and has been ordained and licensed to perform weddings since 2002. He has a gift and passion for leading and serving people. He has completed a certificate in graduate studies, as well as a graduate & undergrad degree from Regent University in VB, where he currently works. He and his wife, Sonya (a longtime 1st grade teacher in Chesapeake), are the proud parents of three beautiful, talented daughters and reside in Chesapeake. In his free time, Hector can be found DJing or Karaoking at parties and weddings along with his wife.
